This interactive data visualization project is a culmination of 3D printing, data collecting, projection mapping, and a little bit of processing know how. Each 3D print represents a National Park with sizes that are proportional to one another. Each print holds a great deal of data-the size of the park, along with upwards of 20 of their top rated trails, trail distance and level of difficulty.

Data visualization is a powerful tool to show relationships of “things” that we cannot mentally comprehend.
